The ability to read, write, and analyse; the confidence to stand up and demand justice; the virtues that shape a good
life; and the potential to become productive members of society all of this begins with education. At Red Roses, our
mission is to guide students towards improving not only their own lives but also that of others, ultimately contributing
to a better world. Education, as the soul of our society, bridges generations, and we believe it is a journey much like
riding a bicycle: we must keep pedalling to move forward.
It brings me immense joy and pride to reconnect with all of you through this special edition of our school magazine after
a significant gap of three years. The challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic were unlike anything we had faced
before. This hiatus serves as a reminder of the difficult times we endured, but more importantly, it highlights our
collective resilience and the strength of our school community. The world has changed, and so have we. We adapted,
grew, and supported each other through uncertain times. This edition of the magazine is a celebration of our comeback
a showcase of creativity, perseverance, and the unity that kept us going. Within these pages, you will find stories
of the incredible progress our students have made during these transformative years.
Despite the pandemic, our school has witnessed significant achievements. From outstanding academic performances to
impressive feats in sports, cultural, and co-curricular activities, our students have excelled across various domains.
We proudly celebrate their successes on the grand stage of our Annual Day celebration in December 2024, and their
remarkable accomplishments are also recorded in this magazine for all to cherish.
In 2021, we quietly marked a major milestone our 10 Years of Inception. The pandemic may have limited our celebrations, but
we held a meaningful ceremony with our staff, reinforcing our shared vision and dedication. To address the learning gaps
caused by remote education, our teachers designed a special bridge course, focusing on core subjects like Mathematics, to
help students regain confidence and meet the expected learning outcomes due to the learning gap.
I am also delighted to share that our school achieved a 100% success in the CBSE Board. Examinations for Classes X and XII
for three consecutive sessions (2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023- 24). Students secured 100/100 in Psychology & Painting and
several students passed with distinction. Many of our alumni have secured admissions to prestigious institutions, including
NLU Patiala, IISER Tirupati, VIT, JKMC & MKCG Medical Colleges, Delhi School of Journalism and some foreign universities
in Russia, Canada and USA, reflecting their hard work and the guidance of our dedicated teachers.
The post-COVID era has embraced a hybrid model of education, and our faculty has been proactive in enhancing their skills
through various capacity-building programs organized by CBSE, Diksha, and Swayam.
Our commitment to holistic education goes beyond academics. We have collaborated with international partners, such as
SHIN Educational Services from Japan, to offer courses in non- cognitive skills for primary students, and facilitated
cultural exchanges with schools in the UK, strengthening global connections and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
Our school participated in Birmingham Commonwealth Connections Project in August 2022 students performed on the famous
Broadway musical 'The Wizard & I' from 'WICKED' under the guidance of UK based choreographer, Mr. Joseph Junkere at the
British Council Theatre in New Delhi.
The school celebrated its grand Annual Day in December of 2022. The event was graced by Chief Guest, Member Legislative
Assembly, (late) Sh. Rakesh Daulatabad, Guest of Honour, Suptd. Engineer, Irrigation Department, Govt. of Haryana, Sh. Shiv
Singh Rawat and our Star Guest, a prominent Bollywood celebrity, Smt. Sheeba Chaddha. Other distinguished guests included
esteemed members of Sh. R.R. Mehta Educational Trust, Members of SMC, and dignitaries from the educational community. The
highlight of the evening was the spectacular Light & Sound play 'Dastaan-e-Dilli,' scripted and directed by Ms. Seema
Chhibber, which captivated the audience with its powerful depiction of historical tales of sacrifice and valour. Despite
the chilly weather, the spirit of celebration and the warmth of the performances kept the audience engaged concluding
with a vibrant Grand Finale dance, leaving the audience spellbound and creating lasting memories for all in
attendance.
Deeply committed to addressing global issues and taking the social and moral responsibility. NURTURANCE- 2023 an exhibition,
focussing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was presented by students, guided by their teachers.
It truly takes an entire community to raise a child, and the progress of our school is a testament to the strong partnership
between parents, faculty, and management. As we look to the future, we remain committed to providing quality education and
fostering lifelong learning. Our focus will continue to be on developing well-rounded individuals who embody values of
empathy, integrity, and a sense of social responsibility. We are confident that our students will contribute positively
to society and make a meaningful impact in the world.
I extend my deepest gratitude to each of you for being part of this journey. Let us continue working hand in hand, driven by
a shared vision of excellence and a collective goal of building a brighter, more compassionate world.
The ability to read, write, and analyse; the confidence to stand up and demand justice and equality; acquire virtues and moral habits to live good life and at the same time become productive, contributing members of community; all of this starts with education. Education is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another. At RED ROSES our endeavour is to help our students learn to improve their lives and that of others and make the world a better place. We all would agree, that educating children is a continuous process, it’s like riding a bicycle; unless you pedal, you don’t go forward.
Dear parents. After a gap of more than 2 years, witnessing your children perform on this Annual event is your day of pride. I assure you that each heart is going to swell with joy as you watch and cherish your child’s performance today.
I often say that teaching is the best and noblest of all professions, because we get a chance to build the character.
These are moments of fulfilment for us when, under the able guidance of our faculty, and especially Mrs Seema Chhibber, the director and script writer and soul of this presentation, our students present a mega show Dastaan e Dilli. You will be happy to know that almost all students are participating, either on or off stage to showcase their talent.
Let me begin by giving a quick run through with the work done during the pandemic years till date.
- Most importantly we COMPLETED 10 YEARS OF OUR INCEPTION in 2021. OUR SCHOOL MAGAZINE Pragati 2018-20 was released on the occasion.
To plug the learning gaps that occurred due to online studies, particularly in mathematics, students were helped through bridge courses developed by our teachers for classes 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th to bring them at par with the learning outcomes of their class. Beginning of the session was devoted to basic reading and understanding of the textbooks.
- Class X and XII results No Board exams were conducted in session 2020-21, but CBSE’s criteria for declaring Result was well thought out. It not only reflected students’ comprehensive school-based performance of two years but was a mirror for every school, as it considered the previous years’ performance of the school in boards. Our result was very encouraging.
For rest of the school, we took a collective decision with parents to assess students on avocation as well as academics, because while staying at home also children picked up various hobbies and honed new skills.
In session 2021-22 class XII result was again 100% with highest percentages touching as much as, 93% in Science and Commerce and 95% in Humanities. One student scored 100/100 in Psychology. Education and learning are no longer measured in terms of marks alone. In order to prepare our students for being successful and happy citizens of the next generation, a lot of focus has been shifted towards co-curricular activities. Several steps have been or are being taken to strengthen overall performance of the students. A co-curricular period has been added daily for classes up to VIII which includes, development of non-cognitive skills through Japanese Math curriculum, STEM i.e. Science, Technology and Mathematics in education, Nature Nurture, Personality Development and Yoga.
