Our school organised a cleanliness drive under “Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat” program on 1stOctober2018 in accordance with the nationwide Swachh Bharat cleanliness campaign launched by the Prime Minister on 2ndOctober 2014.
It served as a positive and a spirited attempt that helped to sensitise our students regarding the importance of conserving the environment. Students were guided and encouraged by teachers to minimise the use of plastic bags and methods of disposing-off the e-waste. Students were also given handy tips to keep their surroundings and school clean.
All the students from class III-XII made the paper bags which were distributed during the cleanliness drive. The drive was carried out by our students led by teachers with placards displaying cleanliness messages from our school to the nearby Palam Vyapar Kendra and Sector 23 market. To sensitise people about the benefits of cleanliness and the hazardous effects of polythene and e-waste, students encouraged shopkeepers to use paper bags.
